Position: Track and Trace / Customer Service Representative Organization: Welington Group of Companies Location: Guelph, ON Canada Posting Start Date: 2/3/2023 Date Posted: 2/3/2023 Requirements Requirements: • General Geographical Knowledge (Continental USA, Mexico and Canada) • Strong Organizational and Time Management skills • Exceptional communication of English Language (read/write/verbal) • Attention to detail when completing documentation • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Strong customer focus • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment • Ability to demonstrate good judgment • Ability to problem solve and improve processes • Reliable mode of transportation to our Guelph Location Preferences: • Prior experience in the Transportation industry • Experience with calculating transit time based on mode of transport • Ability to self-motivate About the Role: • Tracking and Tracing (Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations; proactive analysis to prevent service failures) • Building Customer Relationships (Consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations, Relaying updates, organic growth on customer lanes/freight opportunities etc.) • Building Carrier Relationships (Productive carrier relationship development, handling and management of difficult situations, etc.) • Order Entry/Contracting (inputting freight details to facilitate the movement of our customer’s freight) • Coordinating and monitoring shipment bookings with Wellington offices and other service providers • Confirming and monitoring shipments picked up from various client locations • Verifying accuracy of shipping documents received from client. • Enter shipment details into internal software (Fleet Manager) • Work with client to resolve any discrepancies • Arrange pick-up of shipments within North America • Follow up on all shipments through to delivery; obtain POD copies for all shipments and update the customer • Respond to all customer inquiries • Stay in communication with operations team to help push information needed for customer updates. What we provide: (2 positions available) • 1st position =Mon-Fri (Day shift) – Full Time. • 2nd position= 4 days on, 4 days off (12-hour shifts) – Full Time • Bi-weekly pay/Direct Deposit • Bi-annual Performance Reviews • Benefits (after 90 days of employment/Company pays 50% of monthly premium) • Excellent company culture with group events and a positive atmosphere.
