  • Ensure client has adequate support while focusing on independence and autonomy with home and community living
  • Responsible for supporting various physical, cognitive and social needs of client
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals
  • Maintenance of safe and personalized home
  • Access medical professionals and follow-up including assistance with medications when required
  • Carry out all aspects of person’s Individual Support Plan and help achieve goals
  • Comfortable with rural and urban all-season driving, road trips, social outings
The Choice Candidate
  • Clean drivers license (Class 4 an asset), vulnerable sector and criminal records check
  • Experience & education/courses related to Human Services
  • Experience with mature adults and brain injury an asset
  • Health Care Aide experience
  • Demonstrated maturity and responsibility
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
