AF Mushrooms is an agri-food venture focused on growing exotic species of mushrooms for the culinary and nutraceutical industries. Our facility near Crossfield, AB, can produce a variety of oyster species and Lion’s Mane, which complements our existing facility in Strathmore, AB.AF Mushroom Inc. is seeking ambitious team players for our mushroom business. They will take pride in professionalism, continuous improvement and their ability to work through challenges.SpecificallyResponsibilities and Duties: The successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities and duties:· Transport prepared mushroom blocks from Strathmore facility to the Crossfield and Nisku fruiting facilities;· Deliver matured mushrooms to customers in Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton;· Contribute to the company’s expansions around Alberta;· Comply with all safety regulations established by the company;· Assist with the loading and unloading of products;· Assist with receiving and storage of products;· Maintain accurate records of deliveries.· Other activities consistent with the role and title, as may be prescribed from time to time.Qualifications and Skills: The successful applicant must have the following qualifications and skills:· Previous food delivery an asset.· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.· Ability to organize and prioritize workload.· Valid Class 5 Alberta Operator’s Licence with a clean 5 year driving abstract.· Teamwork: Ability to communicate and work effectively and productively with others.· Flexible and able to commit to working weekends and holidays as needed.· Employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: From $18.00 per yearBenefits:
