Job Description

CORE Linepipe is growing. Be a part of the excitement!We are looking for Production Operators to join our team.*COMPANY DESCRIPTION: *CORE is a privately held oilfield pipeline manufacturing and service company founded in 2012. The Company manufactures and installs a unique factory-built pipe-in-pipe corrosion-resistant pipeline system. CORE’s linepipe product called CORE Liner® uses an outer steel pipe for structural integrity and damage-resistance with a polymer liner inserted in the pipe for a reliable and durable corrosion-resistant barrier. During pipeline construction, welding is eliminated by coupling the steel pipe with a patented mechanism called ClickWeld® which provides a strong, efficient method of joining the steel pipe without compromising the internal plastic liner.*ROLE: *Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Operator works with other members of CORE’s manufacturing team to support the production of CORE’s patented products. This role is based out of CORE’s Crossfield facility and provides a hands-on opportunity to work in a safe and controlled production facility with the ability to develop and learn new skills while progressing through various stations in the production process.*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *The Production Operator may complete a number of tasks within CORE’s manufacturing facility, including, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring workplace safety by actively participating in CORE’s Safety Program.
  • Adhering to CORE’s procedures with good workmanship and attention to detail to ensure reliable and quality production of CORE’s products to achieve required production schedules and quotas.
  • Operating equipment and complete tasks as assigned, ensuring safety and proper operating processes are followed at all times.
  • Accurately completing documentation, production data sheets and paperwork.
  • Performing equipment inspections and maintenance as required.
  • Troubleshooting problems with equipment, devices and products.
  • Monitoring and adjusting production equipment and process for quality and productivity.
  • Assisting in the develop, assembly or testing for new products, processes and equipment.
  • Operating hand and power tools.
  • Inspection and packaging of finished products.
  • Ensuring workstation and plant cleanliness.
REQUIREMENTS: *Two years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Effectively work with other team members to achieve targets.
  • Strong work ethic with high personal standards for performance.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects from time to time (e.g. machined parts).
  • Have a valid driver’s license and able to commute to CORE’s Crossfield facility.
*WORK CONDITIONS: **Ability to work in a fast passed environment.
  • Work near heavy equipment on a regular basis.
  • Overtime may be required.
*Location: * Crossfield, ABSchedule: 6:00am-6:00pm (Monday - Thursday). Additional days and overtime may be required from time to time.Compensation: Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.
