Apply today and take the first step towards an exciting new career with CellCarta!SummaryThe Biosample Operator I (BSO I) for CellCarta Logistics reports to the Manager, Biosample Management. The BSO’s focus is to assure that shipment tracking and sample management is done accurately and on time so that information and data is available to clients within a quick and consistent turn around time.The BSO I is expected to work effectively with the Project Management team as well as their counterparts within the department to ensure that data and queries are available and resolved in a timely manner or escalated to their Senior Biosample Operator.Responsibilities

• Biosample tracking: Tracks shipment from pickup to delivery, notifies site and lab of incoming shipments prior to receipt, identifies and logs issues, and attempts to resolve with the courier
• Biosample registration: Registers sample data prior to and/or upon physical sample receipt, reviews the registration and queries discrepant/missing sample data.
• Admin tasks: Ensures services performed are made available to the finance team, etc.
• Works in compliance with all applicable SOPs and regulations · Follows up on problems and informs project managers and BSM Management if needed

Education

• Secondary Education diploma

• Previous data entry experience is an asset

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to type and file and to reach with hands and arms.

Working Conditions

• Work is conducted in an office environment
• A standard work week is 40 hours, but some overtime and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or in emergencies
