The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all of the facilities within the Deersdale district are properly maintained and meet JDI Standards.What We Offer:

Qualifications:

• General maintenance skills
• Strong work ethic
• Strong Commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and email

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all bedrooms for occupancy
• Assign rooms to new guests and gather contact information to enter in Reservation System
• Manage room cleaning schedule and ensure rooms are turned over in a timely fashion
• Ensure all Buildings are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets, wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap), wipe mirrors and windows
• Maintain outer premises and work areas
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs such as replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc…
• Complete drywall damage repairs and painting
• Report major damages to Building Maintenance Supervisor and oversee repairs
• Shovel snow from the steps and walkways
• Lift and move various items (e.g. moving furniture, appliances, etc…)
• Position will be required to travel to remote locations and subject to inclement weather conditions.
• Willing to complete physically demanding tasks both indoors and outdoors
• Order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory
• Build and track list of camp equipment, satellite receiver SIN#s, etc…
• Other duties as assigned
