Job Description

Mobil Grain is now hiring Railroad MOW Equipment Operators for work on Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway. Mobil Grain is a family-founded company that operates the two Saskatchewan shortline railroads, LMR (85 miles) and BGS (250 miles). The position is based in Delisle with work throughout our operating territory.Duties will include:

  • operating track units in a safe, efficient, and appropriate manner
  • performing daily inspections and minor repairs
The successful applicant must:
  • have a strong work ethic
  • willing to keep an open mind (tasks will not be the same every day)
  • be committed to working safely and responsibly
  • willing to work in a positive, respectful environment
  • be a team player, willing to pull their weight to get the job done
  • have experience operating heavy equipment (experience operating track equipment such as a Spiker, Plate Jack, Spike Puller, Snow Fighter, etc. is an asset)
Job Details:
  • Schedule: 10 days on, 4 days off
  • Location: Nights away from home required - accommodations and meals will be covered
