POSITION SUMMARYThe Site Administrator is the first point-of-contact at our Canadian Plains construction project location and presents a positive and professional image of Canadian Plains to all clients, suppliers, associates and office visitors. The Administrator maintains an appropriate level of confidentiality in all interactions, and is approachable, organized, customer service oriented, and is able to work independently with limited supervision. This position will have day to day interaction with our Corporate office and act as a liaison between the field and our Corporate office for information/data sharing purposes.CORE ACCOUNTABILITIESGeneral Administration/Communication: Represent Canadian Plains in person on site, on the phone and through electronic communications. Communicate current information with clients and staff. Maintain a professional and organized administrative office space.Worker Hires/Rehires: Assist with new hire orientations, sign-on packages & client orientations.Safety/Quality Control Administration: Update equipment logs, R&M tracking, update safety and quality systems.Reporting: Data entry to assist with daily production reporting, change management, and general cross-functional support.POSITION DETAILSThis is a temporary project based position in the Delisle, Saskatchewan area approximately 4-5 months in duration.Hourly work term will start approximately June 28th, 2021 and required shifts will be 6 days on, 1 day off.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of two years administrative experience is preferredExperience within the oilfield and or construction industry is considered an assetAPPLICANT REQUIREMENTSMust be willing travel to the required project siteWilling to take initiative and work independentlyEfficient and data entry skillsAbility to work a flexible schedulePossess a problem solving and critical thinking attitudeEffective written, oral and peer-to-peer communication skillsDetail oriented work ethicFriendly and approachableWho we areCanadian Plains is a Saskatchewan based company and leader in construction and maintenance services to the oil and gas, midstream, transportation, mining, and utility industries across central Canada.
