Job Description

We Keep Your Helicopter Flying Safely, Whatever The Mission! Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.Heli-One has an opportunity for an NDT Technician at their Delta, BC location. They will be responsible for preparing and carrying out non-destructive testing inspections including performing Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing and Eddy Current Testing on aircraft parts based on applicable standards, quality assurance measures, and company policies and procedures.Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all fluorescent and magnetic particle inspections of all aircraft parts to support the workshops.
  • Carry out the post clean of all the parts inspected.
  • Ensure compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) manual specifications, service bulletins, build sheets, quality procedures, airworthiness directives; and company policy and procedures.
  • Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • International travel may be required.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • CGSB Level II certifications in MPI and LPI NDT techniques.
  • CGSB Level II Eddy Current Inspection is preferred.
  • Previous NAS410 authority training preferred.
  • Self motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of NDT experience within an aviation environment.
