About the OpportunityEriez Flotation Canada Inc. the flagship office for FLOTATION, is seeking a Sales Director who has a strong competitive spirt and proven track record of closing sales to join our organization. You’ll embark on a journey defined by excellence and innovation, aimed at captivating the world #39;s mineral processing and related industries with the product offerings of Eriez Flotation. Working within a small, high-performing team in our Delta, BC office, and through strong collaboration with other Eriez offices globally, you will be responsible for organizing our Sales Team and collaborating with our global team and customers to deliver results.RequirementsIn this role, you will undertake the following duties, including but not limited to:Leadership:

  • Spearhead sales endeavours from Eriez Flotation #39;s flagship office, orchestrating and responsibility for closing contract negotiations throughout the world.
  • Provide marketing and business development for Eriez Flotation products (including Flotation equipmentamp; spargers) to clientele in mineral processing and related industries.
  • In conjunction with Management, develop and execute business plan and sales strategies that are in alignment with Global Flotation Strategic Plan for Eriez Flotation products.
  • Nurture the growth and development of Sales Team by leading and focusing on career development, supervision, training, planning, and coordination.
Operational Support:
  • Manage sales processes, policies, and proceduresamp; collaborate with other departments and product managers.
  • Coordinate sales efforts to create accurate and timely complex proposals.
  • Create and maintain monthly reports on sales and sales projections.
  • Foster client relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Support other global Flotation offices and projects as needed
  • Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions, within the prescribed authority, while safeguarding the interests of Eriez Flotation by minimizing risks. Working with engineering and project management to insure a clean handover
  • Represent Eriez Flotation at client meetings, tradeshows and conferencesamp; engage audiences with marketing media such as presentations and promotional materials
  • Managing a group of sales professionals and back-office to insure that Eriez solutions are known and on the mind of engineering companies, consultants and customers throughout Canada and global territories covered by the Canadian office
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge by attending workshops, reading publications, networking, and participating in professional societies.
  • Prepare yearly budget for the Sales group #39;s expenses and profits and monitor it.
  • Develop systems and tools to track Requests for Quotations (RFQs), orders, and ensure effective and timely transfer to other departments.
About YouTo qualify, you must have +15 years of relevant experience in sales and managing a team. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the flotation technology, manufacturing, and/or mining equipment industry.In addition, you must have knowledge, skills, or experience in the following:
  • Strong competitive spirit and proven track record of closing complex sales
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a multinational team.
  • Comfortable in leadership, assigning tasks, working independently, and thriving in ambiguous situations.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally (Approx. 20%-30%)
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities and time for self and with your team
  • Able to problem-solve
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, multi-tasker and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to plan and travel in and around the region
  • French language skills is a strong asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
