Job Description

Our commitment to service, excellence, innovation, and integrity will drive us to be North America #39;s leading infrastructure solutions provider.We are seeking a dedicated Engineer in Training to join our team in Delta, BC. The ideal candidate will assist with the design and detailing of bridges, bridge components, and steel structures.Key Responsibilities:

  • Modelling and design of steel components such as bridge bearings.
  • Design of pedestrian bridges.
  • Design of structures to the relevant design code (CSA S16-14 and the BC building code).
  • Design and detailing of bolted and welded steel connections.
  • Conduct field reviews of completed work.
  • Assist and provide input in preparing quotes.
  • Assist with research and development of new products.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in the use of structural analysis, finite element analysis and detailing software.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling and CAD.
  • Demonstrate written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Required Training and Experience:
  • Degree in civil engineering.
