You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Create and/or edit job descriptions, create requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and publish job postings both internally and externally;
  • Support the pre-employment verification process for salaried and hourly candidates (reference taking, criminal records verification, medical exam scheduling, English assessments, onboarding of new employees);
  • Update all required tracking documents;
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the highest recruitment standard and philosophy;
  • Support the recruitment team for all matters related to recruitment function as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Human Resources, Administration or relevant field;
  • 2 years of work experience in a Human Resources administrative function or similar function;
  • Attention to detail, ability to maintain high standards, ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maximize efficiencies in daily work;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels with the organization;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint; experience with Taleo ATS an asset.
Note that the official working language at our Nunavut operations is English.Your Work Schedule:
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
