Roles currently based out of the Don Mills office will move to Queen’s Quay upon its opening in Spring-Summer 2023. Having all of us together in our new vibrant space will deliver a rich- team-focused- agile experience that promotes connection- communication- collaboration and transparency.Role OverviewThe Finance Analyst is a key member of a cross-functional growth team- supporting the achievement of portfolio performance objectives via financial analysis- reporting and forecasting of Innovation- Renovation- Design-to-value and Productivity projects.Responsibilities

  • Evaluate- forecast- and build business proposals for Innovation- Renovation- Design-to-value (DTV) and Productivity projects assessing financial risks and returns.
  • Data gathering and stewardship for BU PMR and Stage-Gate financial inputs- ensuring project financials and forecasts are accurately reflected
  • Forecast and track innovation/renovation performance.
  • Monitor business performance through analysis of portfolio profitability and product/category specific deep dives
  • Support the Platform/Marketing teams in the financial analysis and business proposals on all Capex requests.
  • Support the long-term forecasting and planning cycles on Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and Strat Plan for Innovation- Renovation and Capacity/Growth initiatives
  • Seek opportunities to improve planning/analysis/processes to provide high level of service in the most efficient as well as effective manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance- accounting- engineering- economics- mathematics or related areas
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and broad business acumen
  • Experience in Financial Planning Analysis- Forecasting and Accounting Principles
  • Experience in pricing and investment analysis (ROI / NPV) and scenario analysis is considered an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and think independently
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
