If you are looking for interesting and challenging work, at a company committed to its people, find out more about what Aviso has to offer at www.aviso.ca.The Opportunity:We’re looking for a Credit Officer to join our Operations team.Reporting to the Supervisor, Credit the Credit Officer will be instrumental in ensuring that requirements of the regulators are satisfied by enforcing efficient/effective monitor and control on retail credit for our IIROC full brokerage platform.Who you are:

What your day looks like:

• Review and authorize cheques, EFTs and wires based on risk management and AML regulations
• Daily monitoring of credit, registered debits and margin accounts based on firm policy
• Review and approve internal/external transfers which have credit related ramifications
• Monitor daily security concentration levels
• Assist in capital and credit reporting
• Complete other assigned projects

RequirementsYour experience and skills:

• Post secondary degree
• Completion of CSC is an asset
• A minimum of 2 years of credit experience with the securities industry
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced environment
• Flexible to meet changing needs and manage deadlines
• Customer focused, ability to build and maintain relationship
• Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
