As a trusted advisor, you #39;ll provide a range of services to small and mid-sized companies, ranging from bookkeeping to fractional CFO services.MNP is proudly Canadian. Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.Responsibilities

  • Support clients with financial advisory services involving the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of financial data, key performance indicators and metrics
  • Conduct business analysis and identify improvements of current state: accounting processes and procedures, reporting, data quality, system tools, asset training and internal controls
  • Development of financial models for a variety of applications, such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, raising capital and valuations
  • Develop effective working relationships with clients by working with various accounting and administrative personnel to support the delivery of advisory services
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP #39;s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients
  • Network and support the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
Skills and Experience
  • Currently pursuing, or intending to pursue a CPA designation
  • Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration
  • Experience with financial statement modeling is considered an asset
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset
  • Travel may be required
