Our culture is who we are and how we show up - as individuals and as a team.Who we are looking for:The Infrastructure Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and supporting our CDK infrastructure related aspects of devices within AutoCanada. This position involves overseeing the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability for our Dealer Management System. The role requires expertise in endpoint management tools, infrastructure support, and a strong understanding of network and system configurations.You will succeed in this role if you have excellent customer service experience, self-motivated, goal oriented, detail oriented, and a willingness to learn.   • Endpoint Infrastructure Management:
  • Maintain endpoint infrastructure components, including servers, networking devices, and associated systems
  • Configure and manage endpoint infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between endpoint infrastructure and overall IT architecture
  • Deployment and Configuration:
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and provisioning of endpoint infrastructure hardware and software as it relates to our Dealer Management System
  • Deploy and maintain standardized configurations for devices and ensure consistency across the infrastructure
  • Incident and Problem Resolution:
  • Provide advanced technical support and resolution for escalated endpoint infrastructure incidents and problems
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex endpoint infrastructure issuers and implement corrective measures
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles related to endpoint infrastructure
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to junior tam members on endpoint infrastructure best practices
  • Document technical recommendations and provide technical advice and guidance to management, operations and operational team members
  • Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, clients, and technical and business teams.
What you bring to the table:

  • Education. Bachelor #39;s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience with proven experience in leading technical large-scale system and endpoint deployments
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure support, endpoint management, or similar role
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF, ManageEngine) and infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with CDK products and processes (DMS, Service, etc.) would be considered an asset
