Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter-from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of the RoleReporting to the Alberta Food Service Sales Manager, this full-time commission paid position will be based out of the Riverway Sales Branch to service and develop customer accounts (outside sales) with emphasis on executing sales strategies within budget, growth of category volumes and profitability. This vacant territory has an established commission. This position is responsible for the co-ordination and analysis of sales activities for the Foodservice team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for vacation coverage for the Sales Representatives.How you will make contributions that matter:

• Responsible for cold calling on potential Saputo customers.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding gross margin and volume targets as assigned;
• Debit Note administration;
• On going Saputo customer interaction and follow up as required;
• Communicate internally among Saputo management, finance, operations and distribution departments to maximize opportunities;
• Co-ordinate and monitor pricing changes and ensure accuracy of published price plans;
• Data analysis and reporting;
• Develop plans and reports to measure gain / loss in accounts with initiatives towards acquiring new or incremental business;
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships;
• Ensure all correspondence and reports are completed on time and in a thorough manner;
• Support Foodservice team with forecasting, budgeting and sales analysis.
• All other duties assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Post-secondary Diploma or Degree preferred;
• Financialacumen
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and ability to learn new software;
• Working knowledge of Micro Strategy sales systems is preferred;
• Must be self -motivated, passionate and possess strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
• Dependable and team orientated;
• Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking, high priority environment;
• Strong administrative competencies.
• Valid driver #39;s license and use of a vehicle
