• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into comprehensive logic specifications
• Design logical data structures, software architecture, interfaces, algorithms and control flows that meet functional objectives
• Develop flowcharts, entity relationship diagrams, logic diagrams, and other documentation to communicate system logic
• A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Code high-quality, efficient software components in languages like Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
• Conduct unit testing, edge case analysis, and other QA activities to ensure bug-free logical integrity
• Identify performance bottlenecks in logic implementations and recommend software or hardware optimizations
• Experience with software development tools, such as version control, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail and quality
• Maintain, monitor and improve existing logic flows in complex, large-scale software systems
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers on logic-based software development
• Keep current with the latest advancements in logical software engineering and system architectures
• Self-motivated and collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies

Your education and experience:

• Master #39;s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years #39; experience developing algorithms for AI/ML applications.
• Expertise in AI math topics like probabilistic graphical models, information theory, heuristic search.
• Strong grasp of software engineering, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in languages like Python, R, MATLAB, C/C++, Java.
• Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong passion for mathematics and artificial intelligence.
• Ability to learn complex new mathematical techniques quickly.

It #39;s an asset if you have:

• Bachelor #39;s or master #39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with full lifecycle logical software development
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals - discrete math, algorithms, data structures etc.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex specifications and translate into robust logic flows
• Expert-level knowledge of languages like Java, Python, C++, JavaScript etc.
• Experience with logic-based software debugging, optimization, and testing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
