Job Description

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and perform manual labour for extended periods of time under various weather conditions and in a safe manner
  • Ability to understand and perform verbal and written instructions
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver #39;s license (or provincial equivalent). Obtaining and maintaining a City Driver #39;s permit is a requirement of this position
  • Compliance with the City of Edmonton #39;s safety standards for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a requirement for this position

Assets:
  • Experience working at a cemetery, public park or landscaping environment
  • Equipment certification or experience or working knowledge of various equipment, and hand tools including z-trak style ride-on mowers, trimmers, skid steers, two-ton trucks, and cement mixers
  • Previous customer service experience in a field operations setting
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certificates
