For more information, visit www.techinsights.com.THE OPPORTUNITY:The Product Manager is responsible for leading the development of new products and services specifically related to an established technology channel. They will own the conception, development and implementation of new information-based products and subscription services for the assigned technical channel; specifically, the Product Manager will provide input into the overall product strategy for content, IP functions for patent analysis, and software platforms for the delivery of content and analysis. The incumbent will monitor and assess emerging developments and technical trends in the market and evaluate competitors from a technical capability perspective.You will own the product roadmap, gather and prioritize customer requirements, and define products and features to address market needs. You will work closely with other Product Managers, Software, Engineering, and Sales to ensure your product line supports the overall strategy, and that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position will be required to travel occasionally (up to 10%)This role is on-site at our Ottawa location.WHAT YOU WILL DOParticipate in the definition and evolution of the TechInsights Platform- Actively contributes to the definition of the Platform through the ideation and creation of product and tools related to assigned channel- Defines the vision of products according to the strategic plan- Analyzes market trends to identify long-term product opportunities- Creates business cases and develop an overall Business Plan- Engages clients and prospective clients to understand longer term needs and market problems- Evaluates product ideas relative to existing product portfolio- Owns the planning and implementation of the features in assigned business area including product positioning- Identifies new opportunities to improve the products- Makes recommendations for initiatives to continuously improve productsDefine and manager the product strategy and roadmap- Owns the roadmap; adjusts and updates roadmap when circumstances necessitate a shift in strategy- Researches and develops product pricing and positioning strategies- Collaborates with stakeholders including marketing, sales and customer success to ensure success- Clearly communicates goals and status updates to stakeholdersContinuously monitor product performance, market trends and technological advances- Reviews and analyzes customer experience data to ensure the product is meeting customer expectations- Leverages data to inform new ideas and create a better experience for customers- Keeps up to date in technical knowledge by participant n seminars, webinars, conferences etc.WHO YOU ARE- Undergraduate degree in a field related to high-technology (computer science, engineering) or relevant work experience- Ability to effectively work with clients and internal teams to distill feedback and drive consensus- High level of comfort presenting to technical and business audiences- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives independently- Advanced knowledge of the product management life cycle- Proven ability to define product roadmaps from conception to delivery- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry combined with deep knowledge of assigned technical arenaAs part of the recruitment process for this position, you will be required to submit your latest citizenship and/or permanent residency information.
