A leader with experience leading staff, and providing administrative support to a team, the SAS is a skilled coordinator. The SAS works with other divisional teams to coordinate furniture, equipment and technology needs for staff, in addition to providing a variety of administrative supports for service delivery.   • Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum 1 year experience supervising and scheduling staff, including allocating work duties and managing performance.
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing administrative and/or financial support services for a group of staff.
  • Client service experience responding to inquiries and resolving /de-escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience delivering training/coaching to a group of staff.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software (Ie. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc).
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
  • Experience in Payroll and leave administration, budget administration, and/or accounts payable.
  • Experience working directly in or with community-based social service organizations providing services to citizens in a face-to-face setting.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with a degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Travel between Ministry offices may be a requirement of this position.
