Coordinator (Marketingamp; Events)Are you ready to use your talent and creativity to make a meaningful impact on the success of Canadian entrepreneurs Our client is seeking a Coordinator, Marketing and Event to join their Marketing Communications team in downtown Toronto. This role will be responsible for coordinating national and regional events, sponsorship activations, and marketing campaigns within a vibrant and innovative event space.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $28 to $30, based on experience.• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.• Full-time position, 35 hours per week.• Work schedule from Monday to Friday.• Location: In-person role in Toronto #39;s Financial District.Responsibilities:• Coordinate and execute diverse event programming, including sponsorship activations, conferences, and social gatherings, within a cutting-edge event space in downtown Toronto.• Oversee seamless event experiences by collaborating closely with colleagues across various departments.• Act as a brand ambassador, managing day-to-day office operations while interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.• Ensure the creation, deployment, and coordination of national and regional events and sponsorship activations.• Manage various marketing projects and support the team by maintaining documentation and ensuring service excellence.• Collaborate cross-functionally to address workspace needs, manage event requests, and ensure timely follow-up in line with established standards.• Develop marketing collateral and cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, project coordination, and regional activities.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor #39;s degree in marketing communications, public relations, or related field.• 4 to 5 years experience in event marketing management, sponsorships, or partnerships activations.• Background in the financial sector or business-to-business event marketing is a plus.• Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively engage with entrepreneurial ecosystem partners and internal colleagues.• Keen interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of its impact.• Proficiency in technology, with a strong interest in using tools that enhance collaboration and efficiency, particularly within Microsoft Office 365 environments (especially Teams and webinars).• Self-reliance, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences.• Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.• Ability to thrive in uncertain situations, think on your feet, and resolve ambiguity swiftly.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
