Job Description

Resource Profile

  • One experienced resource to support a business process change by documenting processes, analyzing requirements, supporting decision-making.
Resource Responsibilities
  • Elicit, document and analyze current state from the existing documentation and in workshops with business SMEs
  • Based on the analysis of the current state, policy and legislative constraints, and business needs identified by business SMEs, define and document future state processes andrequirements using different techniques and artefacts such as BRDs, workflows, data analytics, issue or option paper, process maps and process diagrams etc.
  • Validate requirements with assigned business resources
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders
  • Raise any issues requiring further investigation and/or business decisions
  • Manage traceability and linkage between different deliverables
  • Maintain storage of documents in SharePoint Online
Requirements Knowledgeamp; Skills
  • 6-10 years of experience in BA role in progressive Business Analysis role delivering technical solutions and/or supporting business initiatives
  • Ability to lead business analysis work and deliver various artefacts
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to lead and/or participate in workshops while effectively building relationships and influencing decisions
  • Experience working and negotiating with a variety of business stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Superior writing skills to prepare/edit comprehensive reports, and other documents with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • CBAP or other BA certifications are an asset
Skills
  • Lead and conduct business analysis, business process modelling, redesign and systems consulting services related to IT systems development and application maintenance and support
  • Business analysis expertise for business transformation, re-engineering and business improvement initiatives
  • Facilitation and leading of in-depth workshops to elicit, review and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, data and workflows, business models, business rules and user interface design.
  • Ability to translate client business requirements into functional and information documentation, identifying alternative business design options and solutions; ensuring that the solution(s) satisfy all business requirements.
