Job Description

Summary We are seeking a versatile and dependable Housekeeper to join a team of private household professionals for a residence in the Bridle Path area. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including daily cleaning and maintenance, laundry, food preparation and event assistance. The ideal candidate prides themselves on maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment while providing valuable support for daily living activities.Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Daily cleaning and maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and tidy living space, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Efficiently manage all laundry responsibilities, including washing, drying, folding clothes and linens, and ironing as needed.
  • Bed-making and sheet ironing: Make beds regularly and iron bed sheets to ensure a well-groomed appearance.
  • Food preparation and service: Occasionally assist with food preparation and service, including setting up and clearing dining areas.
  • Trash and recycling Management: Manage and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials.
  • Assistance during social and private events: Provide support and assistance during social and private events, including setup, serving, and cleanup.
  • Answering doorbell and greeting visitors: Answer the doorbell and greet visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a high-end private residence or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
  • Ability to handle laundry, including ironing, efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle occasional food preparation and service tasks.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
Additional Information
  • This is a part-time position Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (approximately 24 hours per week) (flexibility required).
