WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:•Contributes to the overall success of the Tangerine Marketing Department in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.•Champions a Client focused culture and produces Client-centric content to deepen relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge•In addition to delivery of copy, serves as subject matter expert in creation of content that captures Tangerine’s voice, with the ability to innovate within the brand guidelines to create clever and captivating content, improving brand affinity and loyalty•Translates creative briefs and insights into compelling and impactful copy for communication pieces and campaigns; provides consultation to stakeholders in establishing effective messaging strategies and demonstrates high effectiveness at incorporating stakeholder and partner feedback in copy delivery•Ability to liaise with internal and external partners/agencies to create or adapt creative for use in various media channels, including editorial content of varying lengths and formats•Contributes to Client-centric creative ideation and differentiates Tangerine’s content by creating assets that speak to our target segments in a contextual and personalized manner across all channels •Actively participates and engages in cross-functional Agile teams to generate content for programs that drive Client acquisition, engagement and growth throughout the Client lifecycle•Employs a “testamp; learn” mindset to consistently evaluate the effectiveness of communications and iterate to make constant improvements and optimizations•Ensures materials are correct and error-free, including grammar and spelling along with brand, legal, product and process accuracy•Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.•Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. •Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE - WE #39;D LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE:•Post-secondary education in English, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or other related discipline•Minimum 5 years of demonstrated creative copywriting experience, with a focus on digital copywriting•Minimum 5 years of experience in a Marketing or Advertising role, with proficiency in content management systems•Knowledgeable on current marketing and advertising trends and best practices, including solid knowledge of SEO principles with demonstrated ability to optimize content•Financial business knowledge is preferred•Highly creative and imaginative•Strong collaborative skills with ability to coach/train•Effectively performs under pressure•Superior attention to detail•Impeccable written and oral communication skillsWHAT #39;S IN IT FOR YOU:
