Our employees are present in the lives of our residents and work in engaged teams to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.The OpportunityPermanent Part Time – FTE 0.60 – 46.50 bi weekly hours – Eden House CampusWages: Commensurate with education and experience.Reporting to an Accommodation Manager, the Transportation Driver provides safe and reliable transportation for all SCF residents, companions, staff, and others for all outings and events, as requested by the Recreation department. Demonstrating ongoing competence utilizing knowledge, skill, judgment and evidence-based practice in caring for the older adults, the Transportation Driver ensures compliance with all standards as outlined by the Ministry of Transportation, employment and safety-related statutes, legislation, codes and regulations and SCF policies.Apply if you:

• Graduated with a High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Have a current valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract acceptable to the Employer;
• Have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience driving a multi passenger vehicle;
• Are able to lift wheelchair and walker in to the vehicle up to 30 lbs. (pounds); and
• Have strong communication skills speaking, reading, and writing in English.
