Job Description

McLennan Ross LLP has an opening for a full-time associate to join our busy Litigation Practice Group in our Edmonton office.Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have 4+ years of experience in a busy litigation practice with a strong foundation in all aspects of litigation
  • Has extensive “hands-on” experience in questioning, courtroom advocacy and some experience with alternative dispute resolution strategies
  • Is highly motivated, self-directed and able to juggle multiple priorities efficiently
  • Demonstrates the ability to work well independently with confidence under time constraints
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate legal information clearly and practically
  • Is a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the firm
  • Brings exceptional ethics and integrity to the role
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta, or a member of another Canadian law society and eligible for admission to the Law Society of Alberta.
