  • Monitor labeling equipment for proper function and ensure labels are being applied correctly.
  • Adjust machines or processes as needed to accommodate packaging sizes or formats.
  • Perform routine maintenance on labeling machinery to ensure smooth operation (e.g. cleaning, calibrating, and minor repairs)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machine.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunction and resolve minor technical issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for more complex repairs or adjustment to equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts.
  • Monitor machine performance; find ways to improve processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve the quality of labeling operations.
  • Calibrate, configure, and perform tests on labeling machinery to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Documentation and reporting; maintenance activities, work orders, reports etc..
  • Inspect machine for potential safety hazards; report or resolve issues as necessary.
  • Assist with machine upgrades or modifications as needed.
  • Operate machinery to aid production needs (e.g. labeling materials; ensure labels are applied correctly).
  • Help with packaging finished product according to set requirements.
  • Work in other production departments as needed.
Other duties as requiredKey Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with handling labeling machinery; have a strong understanding of machinery, mechanical systems, and how different components work together.
  • Experience in handling tools (e.g. hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, machine manuals, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues; diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great Physical stamina and dexterity; ability to work with heavy machinery, perform physical labor and handle tools
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Must be 18 years of age or over.
