Quality Assurance Automation Developer Remote/Canada Long-term Contract Proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation: Computer Science(CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT) or related disciplineamp; 4yr related experience; 2yr diploma: CS, CE, IT or related disciplineamp; 6yr related experience; 1yr certificate: CS, CE, IT or related disciplineamp; 7yr related experience; current active professional certification or accreditation in related discipline from a recognized issuing bodyamp; 7yr related experience. Other Proposed resource has agreed to a Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance including a credit check prior to commencement. Work Experience Experience and understanding of software quality assurance QA, Testing and Defect Lifecycle. Experience working as an Quality Assurance Developer within an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government of Alberta. Experience working directly with clients, and coordinating with both external stakeholders and internal business areas to ensure communications are relayed to all parties. Nice to Have Professional Licenses/Certification Professional qualification in Test Management (e.g., ISTQB or QAI certification) Work Experience Experience in Agile Projects Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions. Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing. Experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure Experience with user acceptance testing including creation of user acceptance plan, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks. Experience working in or for the public sector.
