Job Description

  • Hours: Project dependant; however, overtime is required during the busy season
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job description:
  • Perform traffic control and flagging activities.
  • Must be able to follow safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices.
  • Safely controlling vehicular, pedestrian and construction traffic movements in a work area.
  • Duties may vary according to job assignment.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with other TCP #39;s onsite.
  • Be available for overtime and weekends.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Experience and certification requirements:
  • Hold a valid, Traffic Control Person certification.
  • Have work experience as a TCP.
  • CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015 are minimal safety ticket requirement.
  • A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
  • A valid drivers license (class 5) required.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
