Job Description

Do you love, love, love, I mean really love dogs, cats and the outdoorsDo we have the best job for you! What if you had an excuse to leave the house to walk dogs, cuddle kittens and supplement your income at the same timeWere looking for responsible, trustworthy and committed individuals to come aboard our team on a part-time basis who are love working with dogs of all sizes. Our dog walkers are responsible for walking and caring for dogs from the same household. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for animals, is looking for an active and rewarding job, and is able to provide high quality pet care.Is this you!What We Need From You:

  • 18 years old
  • Reside in Edson, Alberta
  • A clean criminal record and drivers abstract
  • A drivers license and a registered and insured vehicle (ability to occasionally transport 1-2 dogs)
  • Availability between the hours of 10am-2pm Monday to Friday, including holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs and walk for 8-20km
  • Have a smartphones with data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude

A Day In The Life:
  • Travelling too and from clients homes to walk dog in their neighbourhood
  • Walking dogs of all sizes and personalities from client household
  • Cleaning up after dogs. Picking up and disposing of dog poop.
  • Providing food, water & administering medication (if needed)
  • Ensuring the health & safety of pets.
  • Pretending you are a professional pet photographer, taking selfies and videos of you and the pets!
  • Sharing your day on our social stories.
  • Communicating with pet parents and sending pet visit updates.
  • May include pet sitting and off-leash walking.
  • Other tasks as required.
