The portfolio for this position includes operational leadership for acute care and emergency departments, operating room and dialysis. The Site Manager would also be joining an extremely supportive, innovative and fun group of leaders within the Area 4 corridor. We are looking for an experienced, accountable and compassionate leader who is both patient and staff focused, with a commitment to providing quality services. Required Qualifications:Three to five years in a health care provider role and a minimum of one year working in a leadership capacity. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) OR an applicable healthcare related education or background. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.Additional Required Qualifications:Progressive leadership experience in a health care environment, including experience in a management role in health service operations. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Ability to plan, organize and manage short- and long-term plans and projects and deliver customer focused results.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a rural healthcare facility an asset but not required.
