Job Description

Join our amazing Elora Mill team and work in a beautiful environment, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Share your passion for delicious food and create incredible guest experiences in our historic restaurant with stunning views from every window.The Baker is responsible for the preparation of high quality, delicious breads and baked items for the restaurant, guest rooms and retail outlets. This person is dedicated to preparing items in a thoughtful manner, displaying exceptional baking talents and playing a key role in surpassing guest expectations and providing an incredible dining experience.What makes you the perfect candidate:

  • You enjoy working among positive and passionate individuals – we are a happy, hardworking team!

  • You have a passion for the culinary arts and enjoy creating dishes that exceed expectations.
  • You have at least three years’ experience working as a baker and are able to mix, proof, and bake various leavened products.
  • You have a strong understanding and skillset in the realm of laminated products – experience with the production of chocolates is an asset!
  • You would like a job with the opportunity for endless growth.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Deliver above and beyond guest experiences through the execution of high-quality and delicious food, while highlighting genuine and thoughtful hospitality.
  • Ensure station is prepared and mise en place is complete before meal service.
  • Accept and perform additional tasks as required for optimal performance of the restaurant.
  • Act as an ambassador of Elora Mill Hotel & Spa and Pearle Hospitality.
  • Follow all Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all guests and team members.
  • Adhere to all cleanliness and sanitization practices.
  • Maintain professional appearance and act with integrity and honesty.
