We have ambitious plans and a shared commitment to building a great future for our clients, our community and our team.We offer so much more than a job; we offer a career that’s authentically you.Drive your own potential with:Merit-based promotions and uncapped growth opportunities;Individual performance-based bonus; andA professional development budget.Enjoy more time away from the office with:Three weeks starting vacation allowance;Two additional weeks of paid time off during the Summer months; andA flexible work schedule.Give back to the community with:Local charitable initiatives;Three paid days off to volunteer; andHelp achieving your personal goals outside of work.The Scheduler, Resource Management is an integral part of the firm and supports the Partners and Managers with staffing and utilization efforts across the Assurance & Advisory and Cloud Accounting Services departments.Your primary responsibilities will include:Maintaining an understanding of the skills and experience of all staff and leverage opportunities for staff developmentMaking staffing decisions and recommendations for day-to-day and project schedulingWorking collaboratively with Partners and Managers to ensure all client engagements are appropriately resourced and deadlines are metManaging and maintaining the master schedule, including for new client engagementsProactively identifying and managing conflicts in the master schedule and adapting to changes in prioritiesCommunicating and negotiating as needed with all stakeholders, including Partners, Managers and staffDevelop hands on experience with and proactively monitoring the practice management software, iFirm, to understand resourcing and utilization trends and flag concerns to Partners and ManagersIdentifying areas of improvement in current processes and proceduresA successful candidate will have:College or university qualification or equivalent prior experienceTech savvy with high proficiency in MS Excel including data entry, manipulation, analysis and reportingExperience working in a corporate or professional services environment is an assetAbility to prioritize and manage deliverables, adhering to time constraints and effectively managing stakeholder expectationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
