Job Description

The Esterhazy Community Daycare Co-operative are currently looking for attentive, dedicated, and creative individuals to join our team as Early Childhood Educators.We offer:Competitive wagesBenefit packagesECE Education OpportunitiesFulfilling work environmentFull-time/Part-time schedulingSelected candidates will work within a team of Early Childhood Educators to meet the needs of children through routines, play, meals, and developmental opportunities, while maintaining a safe healthy environment.Early Childhood Education Skills- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs- Assess the developmental level of childrenAdditional Skills- Maintain day care supplies and equipment- Assist in housekeeping duties- Assist in maintaining records of childrenEarly Childhood Educator Assistant Skills- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for childrenWork Setting- Day-care centre- Child care centre- Before and after school programs- Multicultural settingAbility to Supervise- 11-15 peopleSecurity and Safety- Basic security clearance**You must be legally authorized to work in Canada**Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00-$24.00 per hourBenefits:
