The successful candidate will be accountable to ensure the safe execution of maintenance processes for efficient production of potash. Efficiency is maintained by ensuring costs, quality, employee engagement and environmental issues are all managed to the highest levels.What will you do

  • Coordinates and directs the work of U/G Maintenance crews.
  • Define, prioritize, and coordinate work related to Capital expenditures.
  • Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments and housekeeping tours.
  • Ensure all reliability programs meet Mosaic, regulator, and code requirements.
  • Lead and manage the implementation and continuous improvement of the Reliability program and inspection procedures.
  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards.
  • Manage performance issues when necessary.
  • Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent.
  • Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.
  • Identify and implement risk reduction opportunities.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:
  • High School/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, major in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Technology Education.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • U/G Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Maximo experience preferred.
  • Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaics pre-employment checks including criminal, drug, and alcohol testing.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

As development continues at K3, operations will incrementally shift to the new, state-of-the-art mine.Esterhazy K3 Project - The K3 Project, located in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, is next door to our existing K1 and K2 sites. K3 is the third mine to be built in Esterhazy. In June 2021, underground mining operations at K1 and K2 shifted over to K3. An overland conveyance system carries K3 ore to the existing K1 and K2 mills.
