Job Description

Topa Career OpportunityTopa is looking for motivated Janitors to join our team at Mosaic Mine Sites on a Full Time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to clean at the Potash Mine sites.Position Title: Janitorial PositionLocation: Mosaic Mine SiteHours: 5-5-4 ScheduleStart Date: ImmediateClosing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hiredResponsibilities:

  • Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
  • Sweep, scrub, wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Stripping and waxing floors
  • Disinfecting surfaces
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
  • Empty waste and transport to disposal area
  • Replenish bathroom supplies
  • Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled
  • Laundry services as instructed by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment or snow removal equipment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Problem solving Skills
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
  • Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
