The successful candidate will be expected to safely and efficiently carry out the duties of supervising maintenance personnel at our K3 surface location to plan and carry out projects and provide analysis of equipment failure. The candidate will also supervise the underground electrical crew in the assembly, dismantling, relocation and installation of electrical equipment and ensure safe work procedures are adhered to.What will you be working on

• Direct supervision of electrical crew.
• Coordinate moves and electrical installations and ordering of material for maintenance needs.
• Attend meetings (i.e.: training, maintenance planning, safety, environment, etc.)
• Control manpower to reduce overtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot installed equipment.
• Research and development of new equipment.
• Continuous improvement.

What is required for this role

• Journeyperson Electrician license.
• Mining experience is an asset, knowledge of mine electrical systems, and the ability to work with people; as well as coordinate functions with other service and production departments.
• Knowledge of commonly used software is required: Kronos, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work with all levels within mosaic and display credibility and integrity.
• Must be capable of dealing with suppliers and consultants in the Mosaics best interest.
• Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaics pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
