Plus, you will have the opportunity to relocate to one of our 1,000+ locations.Additional duties include the following:Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsTravel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsStrong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.At United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company, we believe that it takes great employees to build a great organization – and we’re passionate about helping our people grow professionally and embrace teamwork in everything they do.
