General Maintenance RepairpersonCORE INDUSTRIAL is a non-union entity which offers a full complement of industrial equipment related services, rentals and skilled labour. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on the job site.This position will be Monday-Friday and located in Esterhazy, SK.Job Duties· Measure, cut, shape, trim, assemble materials and components using hand and power tools· Fix doors, build door frames and complete finishing work where required· Build decks and landings· Assemble furniture for site offices· Complete roof repairs· Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances· Communicate any unsafe conditions or wear and/or damage of equipment to Site Supervisor in order to facilitate corrective actionQualificationsThe successful candidate will have;· Knowledge of basic equipment and power tools· Three to five years of experience with maintenance and repairs; including light duty carpentry work· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License· Effective self-managing, good problem-solving skills, planning, organizing and priority setting skills combined with a strong work ethic· Strong written and verbal communication skills· Must be open and flexible to change, take initiative· Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required.Total CompensationWith this opportunity, Core Industrials offers a competitive Total Compensation Package, including fair and equitable wages and a comprehensive group benefit plan.We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those candidates with cover letters and resumes who fit the needs of the company will be contacted.Closing DateOpen until suitable candidate has been hired.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $28.00-$38.00 per hourSchedule:
