The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate activities of maintenance in an industrial setting. As well as assist workers in troubleshooting equipment problems based on observations and applying knowledge of past experience.What will you be working on

  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards.
  • Manage performance issues when necessary.
  • Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent, as well as support employees in their career development at Mosaic.
  • Execute all preventive and predictive maintenance job plans as per schedule.
  • Establish internal work standards and hold organization to the agreed standards.
  • Create the daily work schedule based on the weekly schedule and production outages. Execute weekly maintenance routine work flow schedule in the assigned of the facility.
What is required for this role
  • Grade 12/GED is required.
  • Journeyperson preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
  • 1 year of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maximo experience preferred.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaics pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Two sites, K1 and K2 (named after the element symbol for potassium ‘K’) have supplied potash to global customers for decades. Currently, a third mine is being built, sensibly named K3.Underground mining operations at K1 and K2 ended in June 2021. An overland conveyance system carries K3 ore to the existing K1 and K2 mills. As development continues at K3, operations will incrementally shift to the new, state-of-the-art mine.Esterhazy K3 Project - The K3 Project, located in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, is next door to our existing K1 and K2 sites. K3 is the third mine to be built in Esterhazy. In June 2021, underground mining operations at K1 and K2 shifted over to K3. An overland conveyance system carries K3 ore to the existing K1 and K2 mills.
