Job Description

Topa Career OpportunityPosition Title: Supervisor Position (Full Time)Reports to: SupervisorDepartment: JanitorialResponsibilities:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Service, clean and supply restrooms
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work
  • Laundry services as instructed by supervisor
  • At times will be expected to lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Underground Cleaning
  • Ensure all employees have been assigned areas to work
  • Ensure all employees are cleaning their assigned areas to Clients expectations
  • Meet with client liaison daily
  • Resolve any problems that may come up from time to time
  • Follow up on employees to ensure work is at high quality
  • Schedule Staff
  • Order and disperse supplies
  • Ensure proper communication with direct report
  • Attend all supervisor meetings
  • Cover when short employees
  • Participate and conduct onsite training to employees
  • Keep a strong motivated team of high performing individuals
  • Enforce safety procedures and practices
SafetyParticipate in the following exercises:
  • Safety Meetings
  • Tool Box talks
  • Site Inspection
  • Complete incident reports
  • Review and sign FLRAs
Qualifications
  • Valid class 5 drivers license
  • Grade 12 diploma or GED
