From inception to delivery, our clients have come to expect superior communication and top-quality service.Reporting to the Station Manager and under the direction of the Supervisor, the Operator’s primary role is to operate and care for field equipment, perform shop maintenance and support the operational business. This role works closely with Greenhands and Bulk Drivers. This position is considered to be a safety-sensitive position.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.Maintain and prepare a pumper for each and every job.Inspect and perform function tests before equipment leaves yard, ensuring all components are in working order.Perform shop maintenance on field equipment when required.Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance and repairs (i.e. 300 hour maintenance, greasing unit and iron treating), and submit paper work before shift end.Perform proper rig in and rig out procedures, mixing, pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and assist with location clean up.Monitor pump pressure, rates, and volume during pumping performance; observe and report if anyone is needed in the hot zone.Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.Establish and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service.Participate in training and development activities.Other general duties as required.Qualifications - RequiredClass 1 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times (subject to change due to market conditions).Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.Qualifications - Looking ForExperience in oil and gas field operations.Experience with rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and clean up.Experience with equipment and components, including pumping equipment.Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, and have the ability to troubleshoot.Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork.Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.Flexible and able to adapt to change.Understands the importance of safety.Team player and customer service focused.Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.Qualifications - AssetsExperience in both primary and remedial cementing.Experience operating Twins.Experience dealing with customers.Magnum Cementing Services is an equal opportunity employer.
