Job Description

From well construction components like premium connections, liner hangers and cementing equipment to downhole multistage fracturing tools, pumpers, blenders and sand storage solutions, our tools allow operators to optimize the completion of a well.Once a well is completed, our robust suite of coiled tubing and wireline equipment allow for cost-efficient and reliable intervention work from the truck to the software to the BOP stack. From there, production begins. Whether on land or offshore, our highly engineered equipment helps lift, pump, flow and separate oil, gas, water and sand streams on the surface or even subsea. Our variety of composite piping and structures helps to connect and carry product in even the most corrosive environments.The RoleSales Account Managers are the principal point of contact between a business and its customers. They ensure current customers have the right products and services, identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers.Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtain an understanding of customer strategies and requirements (both known and unrealized) and recommend or assist in the delivery and/or development of products, services and solutions that support customer strategies and satisfy their needs;
  • Obtain a general understanding of the dynamics and technology trends of the markets in which NOV customers compete;
  • Manage, develop and strengthen NOV relationships with customers evidenced by an increased share of their wallet and/or sales growth;
  • Work with customers and NOV personnel to identify, develop and deliver value added, customer driven products, services and solutions;
  • Provide technical assessments of NOV product performance and customer feedback on NOV service quality to NOV;
  • Present product/service presentations to customers;
  • Become familiar with market needs, technology developments and trends through customer calls, industry contacts and participation in industry organizations, trade shows and technical conferences;
  • Create customer profiles highlighting their strategy and needs, and NOV strategy and initiatives to address them and help them grow their business;
  • Ability to complete regional Plan and Forecast templates and execute on strategies to meet/exceed revenue expectations.
  • Travel will be up to 25% of the time;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience) :
  • 5 or more years of industry experience in a similar or related role;
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry;
  • Strong understanding of all Production and Midsteam product lines;
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record;
  • Valid passport, able to travel internationally if required.
Technical Requirements ( software or program knowledge needed ):
  • Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point;

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Strong ability to work alone or part of a team.
