Job Description

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Trouble shoot, assemble, and repair components or equipment as required;
  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings, SOP’s and service manuals to determine work procedures;
  • Operate rigging equipment, forklift, and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts;
  • Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments under guidance of experienced technicians;
  • Perform predictive and operational maintenance using established procedures;
  • Provide technical assessments of product performance and customer feedback;
  • Manage inventory; ordering, invoicing and related duties.
  • Deliver product and assist customers as required;
  • Manage, develop, and strengthen NOV – PFT customer relationships;
  • Complete tasks within the specifications of NOV – PFT designated QA Systems;
  • Complete all documentation associated with service work, parts used, time keeping;
  • Maintain all safety standards as per NOV – PFT HSE policies and provincial regulations;
  • Ensure that all safety and mechanical equipment being used is well maintained;
  • Work overtime, on-call, and call in as required.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience) :
  • Previous experience in the oilfield/manufacturing sector is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract
Technical Requirements ( software or program knowledge needed ):
  • General computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • ERP system experience considered an asset
