Job Description

We are also proud to provide on the job training, with potential for advancement within our organization and an Educational Assistance Program.Completion and Production Solutions Team is seeking a Service Centre Technician for our Estevan, SK location. The primary responsibilities of the Service Centre Technician are assembling, servicing, delivering and manufacturing of products. This includes direct involvement with assembly and repairs to mechanical components within NOV – PFT specifications.Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Trouble shoot, assemble, and repair components or equipment as required;
  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings, SOP’s and service manuals to determine work procedures;
  • Operate rigging equipment, forklift, and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts;
  • Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments under guidance of experienced technicians;
  • Perform predictive and operational maintenance using established procedures;
  • Provide technical assessments of product performance and customer feedback;
  • Manage inventory; ordering, invoicing and related duties.
  • Deliver product and assist customers as required;
  • Manage, develop, and strengthen NOV – PFT customer relationships;
  • Complete tasks within the specifications of NOV – PFT designated QA Systems;
  • Complete all documentation associated with service work, parts used, time keeping;
  • Maintain all safety standards as per NOV – PFT HSE policies and provincial regulations;
  • Ensure that all safety and mechanical equipment being used is well maintained;
  • Work overtime, on-call, and call in as required.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):
  • Previous experience in the oilfield/manufacturing sector is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract
Technical Requirements (software or program knowledge needed):
  • General computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • ERP system experience considered an asset
