Job Description

Company:Finning CanadaNumber of Openings:1Worker Type:PermanentPosition Overview:Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently looking for a dedicated Shipper/Receiver who will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties.This position will work a Monday to Friday, 5x2 shift rotation. If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented then you are exactly who we are looking for!

  • Pick customer and branch parts orders
  • Pack and label parts orders for shipment
  • Sort and bin incoming stock
  • Load and unload of the parts trucks
  • Process parts credits
  • Core inspection and processing
  • Hydraulic hose building
  • Inventory control
  • Inspect incoming & outgoing equipment and attachments, documenting finding through the Cat inspect app
  • Perform General housekeeping of both the warehouse and the yard
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Grade 12
  • A strong commitment to Safety is imperative
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
  • TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
  • Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, heavy equipment experience as well as computer literacy are also desired
  • Ability to pick orders accurately and efficiently

  • This position is located out of the Estevan, SK branch on a Monday-Friday, 5x2 shift rotation
