Job Title: Terminal OperatorDepartment: Supply Chain ServicesWorksite Location: Northgate, SaskatchewanJob Status: Full TimeReports To: Supply Chain Services SupervisorMajor Purpose: Provide superior customer service to our supply chain partners. You will operate as part of a team to safely and efficiently transload propane, butane, other chemicals, and lumber and manage fertilizer warehouse operations. This position includes performing manual labour in most job tasks.Responsibilities & Requirements · Transload liquid propane gas, other chemicals, and lumber· Understand and follow operating procedures and policies· Operate, or learn to operate, railcar loading systems and equipment (railcar transloader, railcar mover)· Assist in fertilizer warehouse operations· Operate various powered mobile equipment on site (skidsteer, forklift, loader, etc.)· Accurately complete necessary documentation and equipment inspections· Assist with other general duties within the facility, including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and other general housekeeping duties· Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule, overtime, holidays and weekends as required.· Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies· Must have the ability to work safely, communicate well and perform in a team environment· Comply with company safety policies and proceduresEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.Physical Requirement· Physically able to climb up and down railcars/ladders safely, walk up and down steps, and work at heights· Willing to work outside in inclement weather· Can lift, push, pull at least fifty (50) pounds· In good physical condition (able to walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift)Qualifications· Read, write, and understand English· Basic math skills· Computer skills (light data entry)· Valid Driver’s License· Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening· Must be 18 years of age.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to $22.50 per hourSchedule:
