Job Description

Are you a certified PSW or have years of caregiving experience Home Care Assistance is looking for caregivers who can commit to a steady schedule working in a residence.

  • Flexible schedule!
Expectations:
  • Ability to lift up to 150 pounds
  • Male Client (Hygiene Care)
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate directly with our care management team at the head office.
  • Providing basic care relating to clients’ ADLs and IADL’s
  • Light housekeeping (dishes, changing the bed, laundry)
  • Past experience as a caregiver is a plus
  • A passion for the job and helping others
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • References from past employers, colleagues and acquaintances
  • PSW Diploma (an asset)
  • First Aid and CPR Level C is required
  • TB- 2 Step test is required
