Job Posting DetailsHOURS: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hours shifts for weekends and statutory holidays. May also be required to fulfill occassional weekday shift.(Subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)POSITION SUMMARY:Responsibilities include representing Environmental Services (Housekeeping, Portering, Linen, Waste Management) with accountability to ensure quality of service and customer satisfaction in a team environment including scheduling and supervision of staff, orientation and ongoing staff training, quality audits, special projects and other related duties as assigned.UNIT QUALIFICATIONS:OHA Environmental Management Level 1 (minimum)Community College or equivalentMinimum of 5 years recent, related supervisory experience preferably in a health care settingComputer literateExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to train and supervise front-line staff in a team environmentResponsible, self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervisionExperience in maintaining a safe working environment, with strong understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Experience in managing front-line staff Early and Safe Return to Work situations.Must be proficient in the electronic cleanliness auditing processes and procedures.Must be proficient in English, both oral and writtenOsler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
